Mike, I appreciate your comments, and in previous posts, I have pointed out the flaws of both parties, and have recommended the book "Who Killed the Constitution" by Thomas E. Woods Jr. It spells out specifice details of Constitutional overreach by both parties.
Given that this site is "Obamunism", I feel my comments and my bias is warranted.
My interchangable use of these terms sort of reflect my comments on what's the "ism" du jour. Obama seems to be using them interchageably, therefore so do I.

It should be noted that while the "-isms" aren't all that different sounding, they are indeed different and thereby NOT interchangeable.
Fascism is the opposite of communism. As noted in the definitions, fascism is the belief that a particular group is superior to all others and should thereby be the ruling class. This makes it the essential opposite of theoretical communism, in which all members of the community are perfectly equal and lack the need of a ruling class. This does have some mild similarities to true democracy (which it should be noted the U.S. is a federalistic republic) in that democracy holds the idea all members of the community should have a say in the governing body. Keep in mind, however, that even in that tiny connection there is a MASSIVE difference in the existence of a governing body.
Communism as Karl Marx envisioned it is an amazing idea, but it will never happen as it relies on the belief that human nature is not what it is. Thusly we end up with the "communism" we know of, and think of today, which is more along the lines of a dictatorship.
Also, given your article is quite notably of a heavily conservative bias I feel I should point out that Gearge W. Bush committed many an act that violated our constitutional freedoms. In example, I note the Patriot Act. Any small amount of research on the act will reveal how it broke some of our most basic constitutional rights.
If you're going to talk about how this country is degrading through apathy of the general citizenry, which allows the government to overstep its bounds and encroach on our constitutional freedoms and rights (which IS true, and HAS been true for SEVERAL presidents' terms) then I implore you to note the acts committed by both parties and quit trying to unload all of your worries onto the shoulder of just one man, who frankly, isn't even the most powerful in the nation. The supreme court and congress hold more sway than he does. (although it admittedly does not help that both houses of congress share a majority party affiliation with the president. Historically such a situation rarely turns out well.)

In summary, continue to attempt to bring awareness of the U.S. decline to its citizens so that something can be done about it, but please, do so unbiased.

for a free people, these systems of govt are all unacceptable. Therefore I can understand how they are used interchangable in the public discussion. The scary thought is that Marxism is the most accurate description of our current adminstration, the Democratic party, and the political theory they are successfully fomenting in the uneducated population.
